Tiny Explorers: Preschool Mini-Microscope Adventures with Plants and Bugs
Funded Mar 27, 2024Meet the future scientists!"
Our students' engagement speaks volumes in the photos. They not only had the chance to observe plants, flowers, insects, and soil up close but also explored unexpected wonders like sand from the sandbox (which looks like white sugar cubes), carpet (which resembles hair), and even the box that housed our handheld microscope (which is adorned with pink sparkling dots)!
The sheer amazement and curiosity on my students' faces were priceless as they delved into this microscopic world. They couldn't resist examining each other's hair, nails (although a bit grossed out by the dirt under their own nails), and clothes fiber. It's incredible how this simple yet powerful tool has transformed my young students' perception of the world they inhabit. By the way, these photos were taken by my students!
This hands-on experience with the handheld microscope has sparked a newfound interest in science and taught them to look at everyday objects in a new light. Moments like these remind us of the boundless wonder and potential that lies within each of our budding scientists!
Your generosity and support are greatly valued and deeply appreciated.”

A Fun Excavation Expedition for Young Explorers
Funded Mar 19, 2024In the photos I shared, the joy and enthusiasm of my students upon receiving the brand-new excavators and mini-construction vehicles are unmistakable. Their faces lit up with wonder and excitement, capturing the essence of childhood curiosity and exploration. I fondly recall one of my students inquisitively asking, "Is that a Christmas present?" as I unveiled the contents of the box, their eyes wide with anticipation and delight.
What warms my heart even more is that this excitement is not limited to just my 20 prekindergarten students; it extends to other preschoolers at our school as well. The allure of operating these mini-vehicles and experiencing the thrill of construction play resonates with children of various ages, sparking creativity, cooperation, and imaginative playtime that knows no bounds.
This shared joy and engagement among the young learners in our school community reflect the transformative impact of hands-on learning experiences and the invaluable support we receive. Your generous contribution has brought smiles to our students' faces and enriched their educational journey with endless possibilities for exploration and discovery.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation for your kindness and commitment to fostering a nurturing learning environment for our students.”

Kinetic Sand for Preschoolers
Funded Feb 16, 2024I want to express my appreciation for kinetic sand's thoughtful gift sincerely. The impact it has had on my students' engagement and creativity is truly remarkable. The tactile experience and endless creative possibilities it provides have become a source of joy and fascination for them.
One student couldn't contain their excitement, exclaiming, "Playing with it is so cool!" Another took the imaginative exploration a step further, reveling in the process of crafting not only musubi but also intricate ice cream creations with the kinetic sand. The sheer delight and pretend enjoyment they express while savoring these imaginative moments are heartwarming.
Moreover, I've noticed an inspiring development in their social interactions. My students frequently engage in conversations, taking on different roles and scenarios as they explore the versatile nature of kinetic sand. This not only enhances their creativity but also fosters collaborative learning experiences.
Your generous support has played a pivotal role in making these enriching moments possible. With your assistance, I am able to provide my students with valuable learning experiences that extend beyond traditional methods. Your contribution has truly made a difference, and I am genuinely thankful for your ongoing support.”

Developing Expressive Language For Pre-K Students
Funded Nov 18, 2023I would love to capture the sheer joy on my students' faces as they unwrap the boxes containing your generous donation! One student even exclaimed, "It feels like opening Christmas presents!" The students eagerly engaged with the items once the word "presents" was mentioned. Questions like, "Can I trace the mermaid next?" and "Can I go after him?" filled the air, turning the classroom into a lively hubbub – just what I had hoped for! The students not only played but also initiated conversations, sharing their excitement about the special "gifts" they had received. Even after returning from Winter Break, their enthusiasm continues as they actively play with trucks, create art using projectors, and experiment with spiral art using a spiral machine! Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

Funded Mar 4, 2023Our students absolutely LOVE their seesaws and excavators! At first, they did not know how to use a seesaw. Students on both sides just sat on it but now they use their legs to seesaw and the third child stands on top to balance it! Because our school still not allowing our students to use the playground equipment since COVID, your gift has allowed our students to develop their gross motor skills and balancing skills.
Not just our class but we share them with other prekindergarten classes! They also love going on the seesaw and using the excavator.
We really appreciate it!”

Funded Nov 30, 2022As you can see, children LOVE playing with the sand and bubbles. Every time they go outside, they ask to bring out the sensory tables!
Yesterday, children discovered that they could make bubbles using their hands. They learned how to make big and small bubbles. They learned that it was easier to make bubbles when it's windy (just hold a wand up). When they accidently spilled water on sparkling sand, they told me that they could actually pick up the chunk of sand (almost like a kitty litter).
Thank you so much for providing this learning opportunities for our young students! I really appreciate it.
Have a wonderful holiday season!”

Funded Apr 5, 2022As the year closes in, I reflect on how lucky we are to have supporters like you on our side. Because of you, our students smile and do all the age- and developmentally-appropriate activities to develop their social-emotional skills. Even though most of my students are already 5-years-old, they still love getting their hands dirty to play! Your donations allowed me to provide those activities, so thank you.
My students are excited to move on to kindergarten in a few weeks. I can honestly say that all of my students are ready for kindergarten! Look at their smiles! They are happy and enjoy coming to school.
Thank you!”
