• Ink Me With Your Best Shot

It is a luxury to have a printer in my classroom and it simply wouldn't work without your donations of ink to keep it going. With this printer I am able to print differentiated materials to meet the needs of my very diverse abilities group. I can print story cards that help young learners interact with our comprehension activities. I can print games to use that are targeted to the exact skill each student needs. Ink really makes it all go around.

Now my students will special education needs have adaptable materials that mimic our everyday learning but are much more interactive so they can participate more fully.

  We have enjoyed interactive story boards, sequencing pictures, and retelling pieces for some of our favorite stories such as Dragons Love Tacos and The Three Billy Goats Gruff.

• Cozy and Full

  Thank you so much for your kind and generous donations! We have indeed been cozy and full this past season thanks to you! New hats went on my students immediately and the gloves have been passed out as needed.

  Paper towels have cleaned up many kindergarten messes including an epic easel painting session.

  And what would we have done without the stockpile of snacks?! Our students and their families have been so grateful for the afternoon snack time. I am so grateful that the snacks did not have to come from kitchen.

  Without businesses and donors like you, it would have been a long cold winter. Instead we are ready for spring and getting ready to be first graders!”

  With the gift card I have purchased and used digital literacy station rotation slides which help my students become more independent. I have also purchased interactive printable books which have been particularly useful this year for my 14 students with special education needs. My classroom is a very busy place with 26 students this year and these interactive books have allowed students to engage in the text and participate even if they may be nonverbal or have processing delays.

While teaching demands have increased, our time certainly has not. The teacher created materials I am able to purchase on TPT are engaging, differentiated, and easy to use.

  I am able to purchase digital activities that students can use independently or we do many games whole group. There are differentiated phonics lessons, story time extensions, and individual books for emergent readers.

  As soon as I notice a student needs to be challenged or needs extra assistance I am able to drill down on TPT and find exactly what I need quickly and easily.

• Party With Paint, Puzzles, and Pouches

  Thank you so much for your kind and generous donation. This supply refresh has been much needed and reenergized a few of our learning areas.

  The puzzles have been essential. They students are so proud when they finish some of the puzzles that have more pieces. There were also puzzles appropriate for my students with special education needs.

  We have loved having fresh paints and enough brushes for each student. We love using the easels during free choice playtime to create. We also have done a whole group projects including the penguin mixed media project you see in the photos.

• All. The. Things. Abc and Phonics Fun

  Thank you so much for your kind and generous donation. My students have adored playing with the new materials to enhance our learning. Ever since the pandemic and our return to in person instruction, I have noticed the need for additional fine motor activities for my students. Their finger muscle strength is noticeably weaker, leading students to struggle with writing their name and drawing pictures.

  A class favorite is the gumball fine motor game. Using the tongs to squeeze is and excellent workout for their finger muscles. The letters games have been a hit as well. Digging, hunting, and building letters is a fun multisensory way to practice letter names and sounds.
