  • New Year, New Supplies Needed, Pt. 2

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

Thank you so much for supporting my students and our classroom with your generous donation to this project! I really appreciate your willingness to help me secure the materials my students need to start our school year off right!

Because if your donation, all of my students will star the school year with all of the supplies they need to learn and grow. Being a Title I school, many of my families don't have the ability to purchase materials for their children, and many times my school has a limited budge for such important items. All of my students will start the year with a fully supplied materials box full with pencils, crayons, erasers, scissors, highlighters and colored pencils, all the resources they need!

Thank you again for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Gaiter

  • Rock Our Garden!

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

Thank you for supporting my students and our classroom by donating to this project. We really appreciate your generosity!

My students really enjoyed painting the rocks that you funded! They were able to create wonderful designs that look great in our learning garden! The extra added touch of the rocks they created make my students feel proud every time they water and weed the garden! They take great pride in this space and love to show it to their friends and family!

Thank you again for your support!”

  • Storage, Storage, Storage! We Need More! Pt. 1

    Funded May 4, 2023

Thank you so much for donating to this project to support my students and our classroom. We appreciate your kindness and your generosity!

I love my school, but it is 100 years old! That being said, storage space for books, manipulatives, and other materials is at a minimum. This project helped fund mobile bookcases that will be used in our reading corner and house books that my students will read all year. The great thing about this bookshelf is that it is mobile...so whenever we decide to reorganize our room we just wheel it to another place! So very easy and convenient!

Thank you again for supporting us!”

  • Reading in Blume! Pt 1

    Funded Mar 31, 2023

Thank you so much for supporting my students and our classroom by donating to this project! My students and I appreciate your generosity!

This Judy Blume series of books is a classroom favorite! We start the year off with "Tales of a Fourth-Grade Nothing" and immediately my students are hooked! They can relate to the story (because they too are 4th graders) and have younger siblings. When I tell them that this is the first book in a series of 5 they automatically insist that we read all of them! I love how these books instill the love of reading in my students!

Thank you, again, for your support!”

  • Fun Resources For Great 4th Graders!

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you so much for donating to this project! My students and I appreciate your generosity!

With the Teacher Pay Teachers gift card you funded, my students participated in a fun STEM activity! The unit involved students creating a vehicle for "Rosie Revere" but there was a catch: the vehicle had to be powered by air! My students were quick to accept the challenge!

In groups they collaborated, planned designs, and created some wonderful air-powered cars! They had such a great time and some said it was the best activity they ever did!

Thank you, again, for your support!

  • A Place For Our Work in 2023!

    Funded Feb 8, 2023

Thank you so much for helping this project get funded with your generous donation. My students and I really appreciate your help!

My students work really hard all year and produce some amazing projects. At the end of the year I love to give them a "portfolio" of all of their creative endeavors. They absolutely love getting the portfolio! It makes them feel like artists and gives them a place to keep all of the work they do in the future. It's a wonderful keepsake for them that I am happy that I was able to provide them with your help.

    Thank you again!”

  • More Toner, More Fun!

    Funded Dec 28, 2022

Thank you so very much for supporting my students and our classroom with your generous donation! We really appreciate your kindness and willingness to help us have the resources needed to succeed!

Having a classroom printer has really been a game-changer! My students look forward to printing their work assignments in color and displaying them in the classroom. Believe it or not, I truly think that having access to the printer makes them work harder! Your gift helps us keep a steady supply of toner for their many projects, and for me to be able to print materials for them as well!

Thank you again for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Gaiter

  • Show Your Work!

    Funded Oct 29, 2022

Thank you for supporting my students and our classroom with your donation to this project! We really appreciate your help!

Being back in school after distance learning has made my students and I really appreciate being together. One of the hardest parts of being remote was not being able to share our work with the whole class because of being on the computer. When we returned, our projector died and your generosity made it possible for us to share work and projects on and through our Promethean board! My students love to be the "teacher" and share work and lead presentations!

    Thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

  • Read To Me!

    Funded Dec 27, 2022

Thank you so much for donating to our project! My students and I appreciate your support and your generosity!

Reading is such an important skill, and being able to encourage and enhance that skill is every teacher's dream. Our listening center is one of the favorite spaces in our classroom. Your gift has allowed me to add more books on CD for my students to enjoy! The books chosen are at all different reading levels so all of my students have a wonderful variety to choose from. They absolutely love listening to the stories and being read to! Not only is it entertaining, but it models how good reading sounds!

Thank you again for your support!”

    With gratitude,

  • Read To Me!

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

Thank you so very much for supporting my students and our classroom by donating to this project. We really appreciate your kindness and your generosity!

My students absolutely love these CD players! With all of the technology they have access to, being able to take these portable players anywhere in the room and enjoy a story is priceless! Our listening center has been enhanced tremendously and my students are "reading" more than ever before! We will soon begin our "40 Book Reading Challenge" and this resource will encourage them to read even more!

Thank you again for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Gaiter

My students are natural born scientists. They are curious about the world around them and are always asking questions. Our school is small--approx. 350 students, which is not the norm in California, with an amazing and supportive principal. My students are eager to learn--their brains are sponges that absorb any and all information given to them. Everything is a potential investigation/experiment to them so I strive to provide my students with as many learning and project based opportunities as possible to enhance the school curriculum and students' intrinsic motivation to learn more. We are a Title 1 school, but because of our size funding levels are not as high as other schools that have higher enrollments. With the help of parent volunteers and other sources, our school thrives and student achievement is high! We're the best little school in CA! We believe that the future lies in our children, that they have virtually unlimited potential and our job is to enable them to reach it.
