Learning at a Distance, Pt. 1
Funded Nov 9, 2020Thank you so much for donating to this project and supporting my students. We are very appreciative of your generosity.
Teaching during a pandemic is no easy feat. Students and teachers had to learn a whole new way to interact and thrive. Recently my district has transitioned to a hybrid model of teaching and learning where some students are in the classroom in person and others are on line. Because of CDC regulations, furniture must be at a safe distance and students are not allowed to share materials. This project solved those issues for me!
The desks that this project funded provides each student with their own individual learning space. They can keep all of their materials right at hand and learn how to stay organized and learn while staying safe. With funds at a minimum, it was a wonderful gift that you gave to my class.
Thank you again for your generosity.”

Funded Mar 28, 2021Thank you so much for donating to this project. My students and I appreciate your support!
Being able to provide individual materials packages to my students has been a life saver! Because of COVID-19 restrictions, students are not allowed to share materials of any kind. This project allowed me to give every student in my classroom their own set of materials to use for all of our projects. This was also very helpful because most of my students cannot afford to purchase the basic materials needed for everyday use in the classroom. This grant eliminated that stress from my students and their families.
Thank you again for your generosity. This has been a challenging year, but with supporters like you it made school life a whole lot better.”

Funded Feb 18, 2021Thank you so much for donating to this project. My students and I really do appreciate your support.
Teaching during a pandemic is no easy feat! It is challenging for the students and the teacher. The biggest one is making sure I have the materials and resources that will allow my students to continue to learn and grow.
Your donation helped me to obtain wonderful learning resources for my students that not only taught them the basic concepts they needed to learn, but also sparked their creativity and allowed them to have fun. I am so grateful that I was able to secure these materials for my students.
Thank you again for your generosity. Hopefully things will get back to a sense of normal really soon.”

Funded Mar 28, 2021Thank you for supporting my students and my classroom by donating to this project. Your generosity is appreciated!
Teaching during a pandemic has been challenging to say the least. Both students and teachers have had to make major adjustments to how we teach and learn. Recently my district has begun a hybrid model, where some students come to school and others stay online. This gave me the opportunity to revive the garden beds that are just outside my classroom!
Because of your donation, we have the supplies to begin planting our garden. The students loved "getting their hands dirty" and are looking forward to seeing their seeds sprout! Thank you so much for giving them this wonderful opportunity. It will be one that they will never forget!”

Funded May 5, 2020Thank you so much for donating My to this project! My students and I really appreciate it!
Teaching remotely has been a challenge for all of us. Staring at a computer screen all day is very difficult and my students struggle to stay on task. Thanks to this project, I was able to get a printer so that I can make hard copies of assignments for my students to do, cutting down on screen time. I have been able to make and send Science and Social Studies projects, just to name a few. My students love getting the packets, especially when they are printed in color!
Thank you again for your support. In these unprecedented times, it is wonderful to know that there are people out there who share my passion for education and will help me provide my students with the materials and resources they need to succeed and grow.”

Teaching and learning in these unprecedented times is challenging to say the least. Being able to keep my students engaged is a real struggle sometimes. However, because of your generous donations I was able to purchase a subscription to Vocabulary City, and wonderful program that helps students to learn vocabulary, phonics and reading/writing skills all while playing fun and interactive games. They absolutely love it!
Since starting the program I have seen my students scores and interest in reading and writing rise significantly! The games are fun and challenge them to excel. What more could a teacher ask for!
Thank you again for donating to this project and helping me continue to keep my students engaged and learning during distance learning.”

Teaching remotely is a challenge, but it is the state of affairs right now. Having resources that engage my students online is a necessity. Because of your donation I was able to purchase a unit about the California Missions and provide my students with activities and projects that they loved and learned from. They were interested and actively involved and were excited to share their work!
Thank you again for your support!”

Funded Nov 2, 2020Thank you so very much for supporting this project. My students and I really appreciate your donations.
Having resources that can excite my students and keep them on task in this era of remote teaching is a real challenge. It takes a lot of work to prepare lessons and activities that are traditionally done with books and paper, and transforming them to a digital format. The gift cards from Teacher Pay Teachers help to alleviate some of that stress because there are resources on that site that can be downloaded and used immediately, and can be edited when needed to match our state standards and curriculum.
Thank you again for your generosity. You are making it so much easier for me to give my students what they need to learn and succeed.”
