  • A Place For Our Backpacks!

    Funded Nov 8, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting my students and our classroom by donating to our project! We really appreciate your generosity!

Teaching during a pandemic has been challenging to say the least. One of the hardest thing to adjust to adhering to all of the safety protocols in place. Before Covid students could freely share materials, sit on rugs, etc. Now, most items need to be packaged individually, and in my classroom, student desks don't have a space for materials. I love the creativity of the room, but storage is always an issue. Students need to bring a backpack to keep all of their personal items and in my room there just was no place to put them, so they were all over the place!

The mobile backpack rack you funded has been a true lifesaver! Now my students have a dedicated place to hold their things and the clutter around the room has been eliminated! They love rolling it out every morning and having their own hook for their things!

Thank you again for helping me to provide this much-needed resource to my classroom and for my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Gaiter

  • Can You Hear Me Now? Pt. 2

    Funded Sep 11, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting my students and our classroom by donating to this project. We really appreciate your generosity.

Teaching during a pandemic has been a challenge but at the same time, rewarding. After almost 2 years online, it is wonderful to be back in the classroom with students even with all of the safety protocols that are in place. One of the hardest adjustments has been teaching with a mask on all day, an adjustment for both me and my students.

I miss seeing their smiles mostly, but the other aspect that makes it challenging is that at times it is hard to hear my students and they have difficulty hearing me. Your donation has changed all of that! Because of you, my students have access to their own portable microphone system. They use them when giving presentations and anytime they want their voice to be heard. Having these devices has been a game-changer in my classroom. Thank you so much for your generous donation.”

    With gratitude,

  • More Storage for Grade 4!

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting my students and our classroom by donating to this project! My students and I really appreciate your generosity.

Coming back to the classroom after almost 2 years online has been a challenge and rewarding. It is wonderful to be with the children face to face and see their eyes light up (under their masks) when they learn something new! However, because of the many uncertainties still out there, enrollment has been fluctuating ever since the first day of school and we are always in need of a few extras for new students.

Your donation helped me to provide materials to our new students, making them feel like part of our classroom community the moment they walked through our doors. Having what you need, when you need it is wonderful!

Thank you again for your support!”

  • Yahoo! Back to School in 2021-22!

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting my students and our classroom by donating to this project. We really appreciate your generosity.

The last two years have been a real challenge for teachers and students. Having to pivot at a moments notice to online teaching and learning then back again certainly took its toll. Having the resource you funded was a tremendous help as I was able to easily provide my students with activities and materials that were easy to access, met all curricular goals and were fun! I can't tell you how much it meant to have this support.

Thank you again for your donation.”

  • Learning in the Classroom, Learning Outside Part 2

    Funded Jul 12, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting my students and our classroom by donating to this project. We really appreciate your generosity and your willingness to help us have the resources needed to learn and grow.

With Covid protocols in place, teaching and learning has been an ever changing experience. From social distancing to not being able to share materials...it has been challenging to say the least. However, my students and I are very happy and excited to be back in the classroom learning together! The resource you funded allows me to teach my students anywhere in the classroom...including outside in our learning garden! Having the mobile whiteboard has become an invaluable tool that we so appreciate having.

Thank you again for your generosity.”

  • Our Garden Rocks!

    Funded Jul 14, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting my students and our classroom by donating to this project. We appreciate your kindness and your generosity!

Teaching during a pandemic has been challenging to say the least. Being back in the classroom with my students is rewarding and at times stressful at the same time. Having the garden beds right outside our classroom doors has been a blessing. My students have planted seeds and harvested vegetables. The joy on their face when they find a radish or peas is just wonderful! They really have made so much progress and love being back in the classroom with their friends. We decorated the garden with the resources you provided creating a warm and inviting space for the whole school community.

Thank you again for your support.”

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting my students and our classroom by donating to this project. My students really and I appreciate your support!

Teaching during a pandemic has been challenging to say the least. The hardest part is remembering to stay socially distant, because the classroom is a place where collaborates place and students want to share their work and ideas with each other. This document reader allows my students to share their work with each other from anywhere in the room. It has been a real game changer and my students absolutely love it!

Thank you again for supporting our classroom!”

  • Learning in the Classroom, Learning Outside!

    Funded May 18, 2021

Thank you for supporting my students and our classroom by donating to this project. We appreciate your generosity and kindness.

With Covid front and center in our learning environment, I use the outdoor learning garden space in front of our classroom as often as possible. My students have planted seeds and are documenting their growth as well as use the space to read, relax and research. The whiteboard funded by this project allows me to display charts, make graphs and take notes while teaching in the outdoor space. Since it is mobile, we can move it in and out of the classroom and never lose any of our work, discussion notes or illustrations. It is really a great tool to have in the classroom!

Thank you again for providing this resource to our classroom.”

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting my students and our classroom by donating to this project! We really appreciate your generosity and willingness to help us bring this project to life!

These garden beds have been neglected for almost 2 year due to the pandemic. My students are extremely excited to be back on campus and just as excited to start planting seeds and watching them grow! Because of your help, we have been able to get the soil prepared for planting and get our learning garden back!k

    Thank you again!”

My students are natural born scientists. They are curious about the world around them and are always asking questions. Our school is small--approx. 350 students, which is not the norm in California, with an amazing and supportive principal. My students are eager to learn--their brains are sponges that absorb any and all information given to them. Everything is a potential investigation/experiment to them so I strive to provide my students with as many learning and project based opportunities as possible to enhance the school curriculum and students' intrinsic motivation to learn more. We are a Title 1 school, but because of our size funding levels are not as high as other schools that have higher enrollments. With the help of parent volunteers and other sources, our school thrives and student achievement is high! We're the best little school in CA! We believe that the future lies in our children, that they have virtually unlimited potential and our job is to enable them to reach it.
