    Funded Dec 3, 2024

Thank you so very much for supporting my students and our classroom by donating to this project. I appreciate your generosity!

I teach at a Title I school where most of my students receive free lunch due to their families' financial circumstances. They are very humble and grateful for any gifts they receive, from a sticker to just a congratulatory hug!

Before school started, I placed the gifts you funded on their desks so that when they entered the room, it would be the first thing they saw! They were so excited and happy! It warmed my heart to see how appreciative they were, and they wanted me to thank you personally from them. It made my day and theirs too!

Thank you again for your support!.”

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

Thank you for donating to this project to support my students and our classroom! We really appreciate your generosity!

My students have worked very hard this year and have made wonderful strides in their education. Because of their dedication, I wanted to give them a special gift as the holidays drew near. With your help, I was able to surprise them with a pair of fuzzy socks, a candy cane pen, and a mini notebook. My students absolutely LOVED their present! It came in a cute triangular gift box that made it even more special!

Thank you so much for helping me bring joy to my students for the holidays!”

  • Read A Book, Write A Book!

    Funded Oct 3, 2024

Thank you for supporting my students and our classroom by donating to this project. My students and I appreciate your generosity.

My students are very creative. They love to draw, and this project is a great way for them to express themselves without being so tied to a computer. They took their time to write their story and were so excited to be "published authors"! If they agree, their books will be barcoded by our librarian and be made available for other students in our school to check out! They really feel like celebrities!

    Thank you again!”

My students are natural born scientists. They are curious about the world around them and are always asking questions. Our school is small--approx. 350 students, which is not the norm in California, with an amazing and supportive principal. My students are eager to learn--their brains are sponges that absorb any and all information given to them. Everything is a potential investigation/experiment to them so I strive to provide my students with as many learning and project based opportunities as possible to enhance the school curriculum and students' intrinsic motivation to learn more. We are a Title 1 school, but because of our size funding levels are not as high as other schools that have higher enrollments. With the help of parent volunteers and other sources, our school thrives and student achievement is high! We're the best little school in CA! We believe that the future lies in our children, that they have virtually unlimited potential and our job is to enable them to reach it.
