iPad Storage
Funded May 28, 2019Thank you for contributing towards my school's iPad storage. Keeping and maintaining technology that is shared amongst classrooms can prove especially challenging. Thanks to your support we were able to create highly organized carts that ensured maximum usage of the iPads. Teachers were able to quickly identify their devices, set up their centers and increase instructional time.
Students were excited since they could help clean and maintain the carts. Matching colors, organizing and learning how to take care of the devices reinforced basic skills used in daily life.”

Funded Dec 1, 2020The ladybugs you contributed towards helped teachers immensely during virtual learning. Trying to keep students engaged in a virtual setting proved exceptionally challenging and teaching new concepts also proved difficult. These document cameras allow teachers to create more inclusive assignments and help students in real time instead of having to find videos or other modes of remediation.
The students were especially intrigued and these cameras held additional value for Math and Physical Science teachers.”

Funded Aug 15, 2014Thank you for donating towards resources for my classroom! Since the printer, maps and other goodies have arrived the productivity in my classroom has increased. We watch the news daily via CNN Student News and reflect on where the countries/states/towns are via the National Geographic maps! We have also used the maps to reference how the US was "drawn up" during the colonial era, Civil War and now post Civil War. We use them to refer and study both political boundaries and natural boundaries as well as political landscapes (red states, blue states).
The printer has become a great asset to the classroom. I am still becoming familiar with how to hook it up for printing via Cloud but with the students help we are getting there! We work primarily on Google Docs but on occasion use SAS Curriculum resources (which are printed in PDF format) and this allows students to easily complete and print their assignments.
The skills they are learning through these resources are invaluable. Developing the ability to correctly network a document to print via Cloud takes patience and skills which are critical to success after graduation. Thank you for endowing my students with these resources so they may continue to grow and reach their full potential.”
