Dream, STEAM, and Achieve! Our School is Wild About Learning!
Funded Oct 18, 2022On behalf of my students and the entire school community, I would like to thank you for your generous donations. Because of individuals like yourself, you help make a BIG difference in children's education. With these materials and resources, you were able to bring our vision to life. They helped create a warm, welcoming, nurturing place to learn daily. When the students saw the animals for the first time, their eyes lit up, and they were so happy. We will be able to use these materials and resources for many years. Again, thank you so much for your support! It means the world to us!”

Rewards to Strive to Cultivate Future Scientists
Funded Oct 1, 2021With your donations, we have already established a day and time to host our first science competition for the year. During the competition, students will review important science concepts and engage in friendly competition. We will be giving medals to the top 5 students and STEM science kits to the top 3 students. We are looking forward to watching the students wear their medals proudly in their school buildings and representing their schools. Once behalf of myself, my team, and the students in Miami-Dade County Public Schools, we THANK YOU for your generous donations. It is immensely appreciated!”

Funded Oct 2, 2017Your donations have made a huge impact on our students' education. With the lab coats, the students transform into scientists and they take more accountability for their learning. With the lab coats and goggles, students are able to perform experiments to enhance their science knowledge, while ensuring their clothes and bodies are protected from any materials. These materials will be used frequently and for many years to come. Again, I am forever thankful for your donation and I will pay it forward as I provide the students with the tools to ensure our future, is prepared for the future.”

Plants + Water - Soil = Hydroponics
Funded Dec 27, 2016Your generous donation has made a great impact in our students' lives. We have been very successful with growing fresh herbs and produce. Since receiving your donation, we have distributed fresh herbs and produce to our students and teachers. We started out with smaller hydroponics kits and due to our success, we requested the larger unit you donated. With the larger unit, we are growing tomatoes. Students are learning about the importance of environmental sustainability and how to grow their own produce in their own homes and backyards. Because of your donation, we were inspired to extend our green initiatives by competing in a competition to win $5,000 to build a greenhouse. I am pleased to inform you that we won first place and our greenhouse has been built! We also received a Premio Verde award and $2,000 to continue our mission. Our goal is to produce sufficient produce to open up a farmer's market for our community. This will allow parents, students and community members to purchase fresh produce at a low cost. The learning experiences they have had this year will impact them for the rest of their lives. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!”

We Want to Go Green and Boogie!
Funded Jan 26, 2016Thank you so much for your donation and your support. With your donation, we were able to obtain tablets to enhance the technology in our classroom, along with reducing the use of paper.
In the last few years, computer based standardized testing is on the rise. Although technology is improving, my students do not have technological resources at home. Therefore, providing them with such technology is crucial to provide them with the necessary knowledge and experience needed.
In the last two years, our school participated in the Green Schools Challenge. We were named finalists last year. Our students were concerned about the amount of wasted paper used on a daily basis. With the tablets, students are able to work out problems, without wasting paper, using pencils, etc.
Your donation has made a significant difference in our classroom and they will be used for many years to come. Again, thank you so much!”

Little Einsteins Need Science Resources and Materials (STEM)
Funded Oct 6, 2015The items you donated have increased my students' science knowledge and motivation immensely. Trying to teach my students without the necessary hands-on materials needed to fully grasp science concepts was difficult. Observing my students wear their goggles and aprons with pride while conducting experiments has been a blessing. They really take science seriously when they have it on. The cross sections of the flowers was a great resource to have to demonstrate the flower parts for reproduction. The animal x-rays came in handy when teaching students animal adaptations and determining the difference between vertebrates and invertebrates. My science class will never be the same now that I have all of these wonderful materials. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!”

Little Einsteins Love Earth Science
Funded Dec 2, 2015Thank you so much for your generous donation! My students will be taking their Science FCAT (standardized test) in 2 weeks and because of your donations, I am positive that students are going to do an amazing job! These materials have been great resources when referring to Our Solar System and it helped students differentiate between the earth's rotation and revolution (a concept many students have difficulty with). I am looking forward to using these materials for many years to come. Again, thank you so much!”
