My students come from a low socio-economic background. Many of their parents did not complete high school. About one third of my students are reading below grade level and some even see school as a punishment. Many can't afford books or even a meal when they get home. While our school is providing for their needs, we are limited by the kinds of technology the school and the district can provide.
