  • Kinder Snack Time

    Funded Feb 20, 2025

Since many of the STEM activities occur right before lunch, having snacks readily available has been beneficial. The Kindergartners often climb a lot of stairs throughout the day, and by the time they reach my classroom, they can be quite hungry. This is where the snacks come into play. Providing them with a small treat not only satisfies their hunger but also enhances their focus and engagement during lessons. They are more attentive, curious, and willing to participate when they feel nourished and energized.

Looking ahead, I plan to continue utilizing the snacks in our daily routine. The combination of engaging materials and a supportive learning environment fosters a sense of community and belonging among my students. They are excited about learning and eager to explore new concepts, and I am thrilled to facilitate that journey.

The new resources and generous donations have had a profound impact on our classroom. From exciting projects to snacks that keep my Kindergartners energized, every aspect contributes to a vibrant learning experience. Thank you for your support in making my classroom a better place for learning and growth.”

    With gratitude,

  • Let's Get Creative

    Funded Feb 11, 2025

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous contributions to my project. Your donations have made a significant impact on my students and have opened up new avenues for learning that were previously unimaginable.

My students are now engaging with technology in ways that foster creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

The Elegoo Resin printer has truly captivated my students' attention and ignited their curiosity about 3D printing and design. The process of watching the printer in action is something that amazes them. They gather around as it slowly brings their digital designs to life, layer by layer, and their faces light up with excitement and wonder.

One particular student, who had previously expressed a limited interest in STEM subjects, shared their experience with a resin printer. This student's enthusiasm sparked curiosity among their peers, prompting discussions about the possibilities that 3D printing can offer. They shared how they had seen a resin printer in action before and were fascinated by the precision and detail it could achieve. This conversation led to a surge of interest in the technology, with many students eager to learn more about how it works and what they can create.

Students who may have struggled with traditional learning methods are finding a new outlet for their creativity and expression through the use of the Elegoo Resin printer. The tactile nature of 3D printing allows them to visualize their ideas and concepts in a way that textbooks cannot. They are actively involved in the design process, from brainstorming ideas to troubleshooting issues during printing. This hands-on experience is not only enhancing their technical skills but also fostering teamwork and collaboration as they work together on projects.

Moreover, the artistic aspect of 3D printing has led to an unexpected interest in design and engineering among students who may not have considered these fields before. They are beginning to understand the real-world applications of technology and how it can be used to solve problems and create innovative solutions. The excitement surrounding the printer has led to a greater appreciation for technology as a whole, and students are now more likely to explore other tech-related projects and subjects.

In conclusion, your donations are making a profound impact on our students' learning experiences. They are not just using technology; they are embracing it, exploring its capabilities, and discovering new passions. The Elegoo Resin printer has become a centerpiece in our classroom, serving as a catalyst for creativity, curiosity, and collaboration. Thank you for believing in our project and for empowering our students to embark on this exciting journey of discovery and learning.”

  • Lunar New Year Animal Creations!

    Funded Jan 15, 2025

Thank you so much for your generous donation. With your support, we were able to get filament needed to use our 3D printer. The students and I recently created the animals of the Lunar calendar just in time for the celebration, and it was a wonderful experience.

Technology is truly helping our students learn by making lessons more interactive and engaging. The filament colors and the newly acquired 3D printer has excited my students, who are eager to explore its possibilities. Many of them are particularly drawn to the hands-on aspect of creating and printing their designs.

Some students have especially warmed to this new technology, showing remarkable enthusiasm in their projects. It's inspiring to see how they collaborate and share ideas while using the printer.

Thank you once again for your incredible support. I look forward to using the printer for many more fun projects with the class.”

We've been lucky to acquire Sphero Bolts but now we need the tablets. I currently have a group of students who are working on coding with their Sphero Bolts. The technology we have at school is no longer compatible. Students are working in large groups using technology I have from home. With your help, more students will get the chance to work one-on-one with their Sphero Bolt. Coding, creating animations on the pixel screen, attaching sounds, creating their own commands, submerging their robots under water and creating robot artwork. All this will be possible with your donation going to tablets that are greatly needed. From my fourth grade students and me, thank you!
