iPad's to Improve Science Learning!

Once again my students thank you for you enormous amount of support in providing technology for our classroom. Having 5 iPads had supported all students that I teach in some way. I am able to put students in groups to use the ipad to view multiple images if we are engaging in a interactive activity. Also, students are in charge of managing our PIBS system (ClassDojo) which they managing using an app on the iPads. The iPads have also been a great way to provide support for English Learners.

What most exciting to students is that students are able to access the world from the tips of their fingers in the classroom. If there are questions that I cannot answer I ask students to find the answers using the iPad. Students are also able to translate text and look up definitions using iPads, which encourages independent learning amongst the students.

The English Language Learner students have especially warmed to this new technology because it has improved their learning experience in their class. They are able to translate their assignments if necessary. The iPads also support students in learning English if they are able to consistently translate words for understanding.”
