Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in creating a safe and nurturing classroom environment. Currently my students do not have many alternatives to the traditional chair and desk. Flexible seating options, like the Comfy Pillows, empower students by providing choice and more control over their learning environment. With an emphasis on developing 21st century skills for my students, interactive whiteboards facilitate multi-sensory learning, that is collaborative, engaging, and hands-on. Privacy Shields will be utilize to help students focus and provide privacy during assessments, computer work, and classwork. These materials will make a difference for my students' learning environment.
