The students are enjoying the ability to improve their presentations through the use of the Cricket machine and the iPad art studio software. They are happy to share what they created and have on many occasions brought, normally bland and abstract, science concepts to life by visually representing them through vibrant colors and three dimensional depiction. My native Spanish speakers are better able to get their points across because of the device and have grown familiar to using it .   Thank you for your support and recognizing the need for technology in the classroom. Your donation has allowed me to more effectively utilize my resources. It is now easier to plan, post and edit my lesson plans on site and be more productive during my regular work hours. The hp pavilion integrates seamlessly with the software being used in the class and the graphic card is more than adequate to process the information. The convenience of having a dedicated devise for teacher use in the class was so necessary that it is a wonder as to why one was not added to the classroom to start. Thank all of you once again.”

Maintaining a classroom that is visited by over 100 students daily can be a daunting task. In particular, providing pencils, wipes, hand sanitizer, markers, paper etc. to students who either can not afford these items or forgot them at home can be challenging.   Thank you for your support in this endeavor. You have helped to revitalize my room and provide a space that is both informative and inspiring. Students routinely say that they love my room because when they enter they are able to see the planets, stars, and moons. They see what a space suit looked and looks like and are able to compare among themselves the differences. All the students refer to the cut out of the life size space suit as Buzz as I smile and think that these 13 year olds will forever remember Buzz Aldrin and his famous moon walk.”

Your gift helped to maintain and refresh consumables materials that, without your support, would have not been replenished. My new class will have the same resources and material that their predecessors had and you helped to establish a classroom tradition and culture of providing support to all students every year.   Thank you so much for the donation. With your gift I was able to purchase material and resources that will support the learning of my students beyond the academic year. The New York Times recognized "Packing for Mars" was made available to all my students. Many who read the book was exposed to exactly what it takes to be an astronaut and the planning and insight required for space exploration. The book gives updated real world application to what they learn from science academic text. Rarely students get testimonials from scientist who are able to apply the fundamental science concepts that they learn every day in class. Thank you again.”

• Spring Refresh

  Thank you for helping me replace many of my consumables for class. Writing a proposal for material comes natural because most people see the need. However, lost in the proposal is the eventual need to replenish the same material that you once asked for. With a daily traffic of over 100 students in my room, paper, tissue, sanitizer, soap, crayons, pencils etc becomes scares. I appreciate everyone who contributed and saw the need to refresh these supplies. It is obvious to me that my donors have experience with kids and understand that they do not hesitate to utilize resources made available to them. Thank you once again.”

  Thank you donors for helping me to provide my students with a sanitary space for learning. With the onset of covid people have become extra careful and sensitive to germs and cleanliness. Students can be particularly concern because they may not be fully aware of how germs are spread and what they should do to prevent them. Your donations have helped me to purchase, gloves, disinfected sprays, wipes, tissue, soap, hand sanitizer and even incents to help my classroom smell its' best.
