Treasure Box in Need
Funded Sep 17, 2021Students love to earn their way to big prizes! The class treasure box is always popular in a classroom. It can be used as an end of the week reward or a way to boost class participation/engagement. The kitchen organizers are used for an old trick that keeps your class set of laptops and chargers from becoming a tangled mess.
My students are really enjoying this school year. Although guidelines are being followed, they are back in learning in a traditional learning environment. I really appreciate this donation!”

Small Mouses for Small Hands
Funded Aug 13, 2021The mouses were awesome with their quarterly online assessments and iStation activity. Thanks to you they now have an easy transition from using a touch screen iPad in their previous grade to using a Chromebook with a touch pad. The mouses are improving their motor skill to prepare them to eventually use the mouse pad. We also use these mouses for our online campus and district assessments. Becoming more comfortable with the mouse and it's many uses will be a great help for when they are in the upper grades taking their online State assessment.”

Funded Jul 6, 2021This will always be one of my favorite projects to do annually. The pre-sharpened pencils were such a life-saver as we started the year. It cuts down on the line to the sharpener as well as cutting down on the wear and tear of a sharpener. The mesh bags are still holding up as their supply bag! They use it for their crayons, pencils, scissors, glue and more. The art teacher also lets them bring it to class and loves how it encourages organization in her room as well.
The 5 subject journals are wonderful, classrooms teachers are encouraged to have a spiral for each content. As a self-contained teacher, that is a lot of spirals! It's also a lot for parents to buy as well as for kids to keep up with. It also causes a teacher to have to provide more storage for 5 spirals for each other 20 students. Having one journal for all subjects was a relief for parent, student and teachers.
I really appreciate your donations!”

Multiply the Love!
Funded Mar 22, 2021Learning multiplication is very vital in 3rd grade math. The students didn't get to end their 2nd grade math instruction because of the pandemic, during this time is when 2nd grade teachers prepare the future 3rd graders for multiplication. Since my students didn't receive this foundation, it caused them to fall behind the usual timeline before reaching 4th grade.
Your donation of these wonderful multiplication cards are such a blessing to these students. They were so excited to have a pack of their own multiplication facts that they could practice at home to ensure they were caught up in mastering their facts.. The parents were also grateful for this free resource to use at home that will help their students in math!
I appreciate the dry erase markers as well, a teacher never has enough of those! (Especially with students excitedly showing off their new multiplication skills on the dry erase board)”

Click, Click, Click
Funded Nov 18, 2020This pack of mini optical mouses for the student's devices were such a great addition to their district-provided technology. The laptops and tablets that the students received have touchpads and was hard for the students to adapt to with their budding motor skills. A lot of the online assignments required a click/drag motion or the online games that require left click/right click commands. The mouses helped the students easily demonstrate their learning. They're a perfect size for their small hands and the retractable cable is very durable.”

Headphones and Charging Stations!
Funded Oct 23, 2020These earphones were so helpful to me and the students in our learning environment. Since some of my students still learn from home, I teach them from my classroom. With the in-person students being in the same classroom, these earphones minimize noise pollution as they complete their assignments while I teach their at-home classmates.
The power strips are a life saver! There are now 14 in-person students who use paper and technology to complete assignments. With 14 students, comes 14 devices that need charging at different times in different spots of the room. These two power strips strategically placed in the classroom are a great help to my students and I to have a seamless classroom experience.”

Funded Sep 5, 2020I want to thank you for your continuous support of the field of education through your donations to my students. They love the idea that someone outside of their teacher and parents feel they are special. Through your donations I'm able to teach them how kindness and appreciation looks through your actions. The books were a great addition to my classroom library. The ethernet cord, mouse pad, wireless mouse and computer stands are so helpful when I'm instructing my online students. Your donation has made a great impact on this unique year. I really appreciate it!”

Funded Jun 29, 2020Thank you for donating these items to me for my instruction for home. The document camera looks great for read-alouds and the printer helps me have a quick way to provide materials. Providing read alouds to my students is very near to my heart, I didn't want the pandemic to take away from the students receiving this classroom experience.
I appreciate your support during this time of need in my field as well as this time of need in my student's lives How teachers deliver instruction has changed and I'm grateful that you are open to assisting me as I adjust.”

Funded Jul 20, 2020Words cannot explained how blessed I feel to have these supplies. My parents were so happy and grateful to not have to go into the stores and buy a list of supplies. Being in a pandemic has put both teachers and parents in a financial bind. Though it is effecting the adults financially, I did not want my students to not be short changed as they returned to the classroom. On their first day back, they used their mesh bag to house their pencils and glue sticks, provided by you. The students have already began to use their 5 subject notebooks and pocket folders that you gave them too. This was truly a blessing and right on time! Thank you for your continuous support of my profession and field and of course the students and their community.”

Funded Aug 2, 2019Thank you so much for helping me create my diverse library. Your donations helped me have a beautiful, organized and inviting library for my students to read in. I used the shelves to sort the class chapter books. The waterfall shelf was used to display the popular Read-Aloud picture books that my students know and love.
The children LOVE going to the library. Most kids do not have an at-home library and if they do they're not always filled with such a vast organized collection. My students love knowing that someone outside of their family and teacher wants to invest in their education.
My next project will be to provide supplies to my students for the upcoming school year. The parents have been so flexible, understanding and cooperative during this COVID-19 Pandemic. As a thank you to them, with your help, I would like to get school supplies donated to students so that the parents can have monetary and emotional relief when school starts back in August.”
