Hello! Welcome to the K-2 Learning Center at Palmquist Elementary. I serve students with mild-to-moderate disabilities. Students' disabilities do not define them, but add to their complexities as individuals. In the Learning Center we foster student confidence in their abilities and support learning through direct interventions. We use positive reinforcement when working in the Learning Center and when mainstreaming in general education classrooms. My goal as an Education Specialist is to assist students in reaching their goals, both personal and academic.
