3D Technology
Funded Aug 8, 2023We are finally up and running. It took us a while to set-up the 3D printer. We had some technical issues that prevented us from starting in a timely manner. Now that we are up and running, we would love to take this time to thank you so much for believing in us and providing such a valuable piece of equipment to our class and school. I also share the device with other science teachers', and they have thanked me for being so generous. But once again, thank you for allowing our students to become creative thinkers using this technology.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Bullock
Jump to It!
Funded Apr 26, 2023Since we received our new jump drives (USB Drives), our class have been able to create PowerPoint Presentations as an entrepreneur project to hopefully create and develop our own businesses some day. When starting a business, you need some type of media to captivate your customers attention. If you are able to see some of the projects we created in the photos we sent, you will see the creativity that we have put into our projects. We will be going to high school the following school year and we could take our projects along with us, using our new jump drives. We also have the capability to edit and enhance our projects as we go along. We truly wish to thank you for believing in us and providing us with the necessary tools to become successful throughout our school years.”

Funded May 3, 2022Our class cannot thank you enough for this important piece of equipment you have donated to our class. Please pardon the delay in contacting you to thank you, but we have been so involved with the science curriculum using our microscope that the time got away from us. The equipment is so interactive and student friendly, that we also took turns putting together slides to display on our Promethean Boards (Interactive Board) to share with our peers. This equipment is sooo awesome, and we want to thank you a thousand times for your donation.”

Funded Nov 29, 2022Our class has improved tremendously using the Wacom writing tablets. We now have the capability of collaborating with our teacher and fellow students on various assignments. We are able to annotate reading lessons together, as well as serve as mentors when we correct each other assignments. Our teacher as well as our classmates can assist with math problems that sometimes we often may not understand. Our lessons can be projected on a smart board, so we could all make corrections together, as we go along. Using the tablets has caused us to take a deeper look at the most common errors students make on their lessons. We are now able to visualize how to avoid these errors and analyze some of the methods we have been using. It has been an honor and pleasure to be able to work at this capacity using these tools. We are so pleased that you believed in us to make such a kind donation to our classroom. We are truly thankful for your kind donation.”

Funded Mar 6, 2020Mrs. Bullock's "STEAM TEAM" would like to take this time to thank you for the science books donated to our class. As you know, outside of technology, books could be used to visually teach students very important strategies such as, Text Structures and Features.
The books will be used to develop anchor charts for students to gain a better understanding of what the informational text is talking about. Although we did not actually receive the books, due to school closure during the pandemic. We are totally thankful that we were considered to receive such a prized possession; books! Once again, thank you for believing in us.
Sincerely,

Funded Oct 16, 2019We are now able to accomplish our goals in science, technology, engineering, art and math, with your kind donation. The computers will be used for engineering design projects, performing science experiments and research, and solving complex math problems. We are proud to have donors like you to help students to become productive citizens in their schools and communities.
The computers are light-weight and easy to transport to the various learning stations, especially while working in cooperative learning groups. In these groups, students are able to promote their learning while working together to maximize their own and others learning through research and discussion without the use of textbooks.
Students learning is impacted by using computers because they are able to take notes faster. Computers makes learning more interesting and easy to understand. Students are able to access information more quickly. The laptops are embraced because of the technological tools they offer combined with their portability. Thank you again.”
