I'm requesting materials to help put a fluency center in my classroom that my kids will love to come to! My classroom is self-contained, and due to the needs of the students and them having to be in the same classroom all day, I want a space to break up the monotony. Fluency is a critical building block to reading and being successful in all subjects, and these donations will directly help me facilitate building my students' confidence in reading, themselves, and their academic capacity. A dedicated area that is warm and inviting, with flexible seating will be a place for us to build our math and reading fluency in a more relaxed environment than where the rest of their lessons take place. It has learning games, mini whiteboards, flashcards, and full library for buddy or guided reading.
