What are they learning? Building with blocks provides one of the most valuable learning experiences available for young children. Block play stimulates learning in all domains of development, intellectual, physical, social-emotional and language. "Play is the work of children," said Fred Rogers of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood. By donating to our project you will help provide my students with a play-based learning opportunity. When students are given the chance to work together they acquire the skills of cooperated learning. Through the simple act of playing with blocks, children have to communicate to cooperate and build a creative structure together.
