I have chosen the stools to use during stations. Stations allow more opportunities for the students to learn at their level. The additional seating will remove the challenges of transitions and the need for students having to worry about moving their chair; this additional stress impacts their ability to learn. Each of my students are impacted by more trauma than you may ever know in your life; this trauma impacts their ability to learn. Our classroom is filled with high anxiety, which results in the students working on their coping skills and frequent negative social interactions. With dividers they are able to focus more on their work and less on worrying about what is going on around them.

About my class
