My students are extremely inquisitive, hard working, and highly capable. They come from low socioeconomic homes, they often do not speak English as a first language, and often the only reinforcement of school concepts is done at school. They love math, science, engineering, reading, and writing, but they do not have the tools to apply what they learn. All their learning is in the abstract, they rarely get to work hands-on. Their school is full of caring, hard working teachers, but these loving teachers do not have the materials needed to do their job. Please support these hard working teachers and eager children, we will all appreciate it.
