Fun Learning With LEGOS
Funded Nov 30, 2019I wish you could have seen the look on my students faces when they came into the classroom and saw all the boxes of new LEGO sets! They were so excited and could not wait for me to open one.
First we opened the transportation set and they all got to build and play at an independent station. The next day we were able to discuss various forms of transportation, when and where they are used, etc.. The next box we opened was the wild animals, which is the favorite so far! I am looking forward to creating lessons and projects for my students to learn about all the animals in the set.
Thank you so much for helping create excitement in our classroom for learning!”

Funded May 28, 2019First, I want to tell you how excited my class was when I told them we had two brand new iPads! They oooo'd and ahhh'd and begged to see them. I told them they would be ready the next day (I was waiting on cases to arrive). The next morning students immediately noticed our bright pink and yellow cases and couldn't wait to test them out!
These iPads are amazing. The students LOVE them and enjoy working on them. They even ask to do their reading program first if they can use an iPad! So far we have used them for reading and science. For certain students, they are even being used as a reward to play games on an educational website/app when they earn a break.
Thank you all so much!!!”

Funded May 18, 2019I wanted to thank you all again for your donations for our flexible seating options!
I wish I could have recorded my students when they walked into our classroom and saw our new white board table. They were SO EXCITED, it was nice to see how happy they were and they couldn't wait to use it.
Our white board table is now its own station. I love how many options we have with it and the students are engaged and love being there!
My students all love our big blue "pillow" which is big enough for 2-3 student to sit on! It fits perfectly in our reading corner and students LOVE to get to the reading corner first now so they can sit or lay on it. We also received 4 small textured pillows and several of my students like to hold one while they look at books and they run their hands back and forth on the pillow. It seems to calm them and keep them engaged in reading!
Thank you all so very much for helping make my classroom fun and engaging!”

Funded Jun 2, 2019I can't begin to thank you enough for the donations for our classrooms flexible seating options! We received 4 red wobble chairs and they have been the "hot" seating choice since we got them! When the students first saw the chairs they got really excited and each student HAD to sit on a chair.
When I first decided on new seating options I planned on using them at our new white board table. Some of the students love them so much I let them move the chairs to the computers or even my table while we work. Many of my students really need to move around and get their wiggles out so these wobble chairs are amazing! It allows them to move back and forth, side to side, quietly and safely without bothering others. They really are a perfect fit for my classroom!
Thank you all for helping make my classroom fun, safe and a great learning environment!”
