Sensitive Materials All the Way!
Funded Nov 12, 2023Words cannot describe how grateful I am for all your support and encouragement for my students. The light projector is a great resource for my students. They love to see the moon and stars projected on the ceiling; every time we come up from lunch, they know it's quiet time. They love cuddling and taking turns using the hug ball and "Patrick the Calming Dog". The sensory table helps my students trace letters and numbers, as well as a calm-down tool when we add moon sand for them to play.
Thank you so much for all your support!!!”

Healthy Start Make Bright Minds!
Funded Sep 25, 2017My students are very privilege to have angels like you who care about the well-being of others. Thank you so much for your donations, but most of all THANK YOU for providing my students with healthy snacks that they enjoy when they are late for breakfast to school. They know that they have something to eat. The uniforms and socks provided my less privilege students with the necessary clothing to come to school. The wipes and tissues keep a clean and healthy environment in the classroom, especially during the flu season is when we use those items the most. Once again THANK you so much for your donations.”

Funded Sep 23, 2016Thank you so much for providing my students with great opportunities to have materials that enhance their learning as well as gross motor skills. The impact the wobbly and bouncing chairs provided for my students is incredible. My special education students as well as my general education students are having a blast using the yoga exercise mat, the tactile stepping stone as well as the get knotted game. The get knotted game has been a hit in the classroom, especially since we have cold days and the students can't go outside to exercise. Once again I can not thank you enough for all the support you have given to my students. Thank you!!”

Funded Mar 29, 2016My students are delighted with the sensory materials we received. These materials have helped in amazing ways my students' behavior. They love the bean bag reading chairs when they are reading to self they feel a very cozy and inviting environment. Those chairs really are a motivation for them to read. The wobble chairs are a hot item in the classroom when my students need to concentrate and write or complete other tasks that requires for then to sit down. They love completing their writing assignments as well as when they are reading to self on the wobble chairs. The audio system is a fantastic way to block sounds that triggers inappropriate behaviors with my special needs students. I plan to continue putting these materials to good use and will look for ways to implement to continue improving my students' learning abilities.”
