Having a diverse classroom library is key to engaging all types of readers. I would love to give my students more high-interest books. These books will be used for novel studies and literature circles throughout the year. Having this opportunity will help struggling readers develop a love for reading. Many of the students don't have access to books at home. The classroom library provides some of the only books these kids read. Most of the books the classroom library have been donated, however, there is a need for the newer popular books to be in the hands of these young readers.
