  • Literacy Center for Emergent Readers

    Thank you so much for helping my kindergarten readers and writers get new literacy centers. Having the literacy centers allows them to learn while playing.

    Kindergarten is when most students have their first introduction to reading and writing. Now I have new materials that engage and challenge them as they are learning to read.

    I am looking forward to working with these amazing students and watching them as they continue to develop their skills.

  • New Readers Need a Listening Center

    Funded Sep 3, 2014

    Thank you so much for your generosity. What a great impact your donation had in my class!!! Our listening center is up and running and my kindergarten students are enjoying looking at books and listening to stories.

    One of the best things about the listening center is that they can listen to books individually and as a group. When they listen to the books together, they get to talk about the stories that they just heard and share their ideas.

My class has 12 students ranging from kindergarten to Second Graders who love learning. They are excited to come to school and love to explore, ask questions, solve problems and work on group projects. At our school, 100% of the students receive free lunch. My students are active but fun, and I want this year to be an amazing experience for them without being hooked on tablets.
