With a hybrid classroom, I have a blended model of students, some face to face, and some at-home learning digitally. The students in my class benefit from their teacher being with them all day to support their learning directly, while the students at home might have a more difficult time connecting with their teacher. With an iPad as an extra device, I will be able to have my digital learners connected to the classroom without interruption. I will connect the iPad to SWIVL technology which will allow me to move around the room and now my students at home will be able to see me at the board teaching instead of seeing a shared screen! Learning language arts digitally can be challenging for some of my learners, so I want to ensure that I am providing them with the best opportunities to be close to the board, with a clear picture of what I am teaching.
