Can you believe that New York City Public School teachers ONLY receive $150 a year for classroom supplies? Neither can I! As a fourth grade teacher I spend hundreds of dollars a year so my students and I can have the necessary classroom supplies that we need. I teach highly motivated students who are enthusiastic to learn. Most of my students are English Language Learners and need a lot of supplies, help and support in order to learn.
