TPT Resources for Student Success!
Funded May 4, 2021I'd like to thank you for donating and giving me the opportunity to buy and use a variety of resources through the Teachers Pay Teachers website. This website is full of activities, projects, and lessons across all grade levels and subject areas, made for teachers, by teachers. I was able to use the money I received to buy some effective lessons to help my students be even more successful, in science in particular.
My kids have used some of the materials I have bought and downloaded already and it has proven to be engaging and helpful when learning the second grade science standards. They thank you as well!!”

Funded Jul 4, 2020I am overjoyed that my books have been delivered and I have had many chances already this school year to do read alouds on diversity with my students through our remote teaching. I have cut out a time each week where I do a lesson on diversity, read one of our books aloud, and we have a whole class discussion. Consistently talking about diversity, especially during these present times, is so crucial. Our students need to know that it is safe to be different from those around them and to celebrate those differences. My ultimate goal is to teach all of my students that they are safe and should always be respected no matter their cultural differences, color of their skin, or any other quality that makes them unique. Thank you so much for helping me achieve this!”

Funded Aug 21, 2019At the beginning of each year, I try to provide as many read alouds as possible for my students to listen to regarding kindness and other positive character traits to remind them of their importance in our ever-changing world. Having these chapter books and read alouds as new additions to our classroom library has certainly helped me achieve this goal. Many of them have already been incorporated into our first reading unit as we talk about kindness and friendship. Many extension activities have been implemented as well to really capture the moral or lessons taught through these books. My kids also enjoy reading some of the read alouds with each other and during their read-to-self time. Many thanks to all of the donors who have made all of this possible. We look forward to this year!!”
