My class is filled with thirty happy and excited students. They come to school ready to learn each day! They are always on the go and ready explore. Many come from a bilingual household and receive free or reduced-priced lunch. The students come from a diverse background and are excited about learning. My class challenges students to become responsible, caring, and critical thinkers. My 3rd graders are full of questions and are very creative. To foster their growth in these areas I like to include art and STEM projects in my class. I encourage them to take responsibility for their learning through teamwork, independent exploration, and centers. My students will be taught to have a growth mindset and understand that hard work and perserverance can help them reach their goals. I want them to believe that they can do anything, even when it is difficult.
