I want to thank you for your generous support in providing my students with a new library of decodable reading books! Your kindness will open up a world of opportunities for them, fostering confidence and a passion for reading. I'm hoping that these books won't just be used for learning, but will set them on a road of independence and joy.
Thanks to your contribution, each child now has resources to fit their needs, that will help them flourish. Your belief in their potential is truly making a difference, and we are incredibly thankful for your partnership in this journey!”
Thank you so much for supporting our Literacy and Math Centers project! When the school year started I was overwhelmed by the wide range of needs that my students had. Even after 15 years of working in special education, I felt like I didn't have enough tricks up my sleeves to help the class. Your support gave me the materials I needed to help build the foundational skills of my students. I was able to purchase the appropriate learning centers that are specific to their needs and organize them into bins that were easily accessible to all the teachers and therapists working in our class.
Our students are learning how to play the games and enjoying these centers! One of our non verbal autistic students likes the centers so much that he requested to play the games by bringing an adult over to centers and pointing to the game he wants; this is an important skill that he has never shown before! Our next step is for all the kids to navigate the centers independently, from choosing the right game, to playing it appropriately and cleaning up and returning it to its proper place. Thank you from all of us!”
I can't fully express my joy, excitement, and thanks for your donation to my project. It is great to see that you share my vision for reaching children. The tools that you have funded will enable students to create and explain their own thoughts with concrete tools. The new materials will undoubtedly aid in fostering a love of writing in the young and beautiful minds of my students. We can't wait to share our writing with you!”
We are children with special needs, learning how to express ourselves through our writing. Although we have countless stories and ideas, often it is difficult for us to express them clearly. The writing we learn in school will help us develop the skills we need to become fluid writers.
