Learning Spanish with Access to Varied, Authentic Resources!

Thank you for your generosity. Students have been using the chargers regularly so that we are able to do work online. This has been crucial for students to be able to stay on track with what we are doing when they forget their charger. The headphones have also been critical for days when there is audio they need to listen to independently.

We additionally do a lot of work on paper. We are doing a unit about art. Recently, I gave the students 20 minutes to create a work of art and then they talked about it with a classmate, making sure to use the vocabulary from the unit. For this it was helpful to have the additional markers as well as the Gorilla Mounting Putty. I put the students artwork on the wall after they did their activity using the putty. While this activity had an educational focus of students talking about the inspiration for their work of art, what it represents and the art style, it also helped build classroom community. The students were excited to make their own art and show each other what they did. Also across different classes they were excited to see what their friends from a different hour created. This was all made possible because of the materials that you contributed to our classroom. Thank you.”
