Thank you for your contribution to my students continued success in the classroom! The supplies that were provided via this donors choose have already been put to great use. During an emergency evacuation, the students were able to use the noise canceling headphones to be able to tolerate being in an emotionally charged and very noisy room full of students and teachers. Additionally, the sensory supplies increased their ability to help maintain calm during a scary time for the students. For providing peace to my students during a time of uncertainty.
One of my students has been needing a slant board and pencil grips for an extended period of time. He was able to use them yesterday during ELA and complete his written assignments with no pain and decreased pressure on his writing utensil.
The impact that the supplies have provided is immense. These are just a few specific examples of how your support has helped my students in being able to access their education in just a short amount of time. These supplies will continue to help a number of students for the remainder of the school year and onward. I cannot thank you enough for helping my students break down barriers to accessing their education.”
