Outdoor Play for Children of All Abilities!

Thank you so much for your generous donation for our playground toys! Your donation was very well liked by our students and gave children with special needs the opportunity to engage with their peers.

Each item was a huge success. Children lined up and took turns on the teeter-totter. We have a few non-verbal students that also have delayed motor skills. They were able to use this toy and laugh with their friends and feel included. It is great way for children with balance issues to move, while still having a firm foundation to sit on.

The Little Tikes vehicles were also well liked. They enjoyed hauling rocks and the kids that cannot use pedals on our bikes were able to use their feet to ride alongside their peers.

The Diggers were a class favorite! We have a lot of rocks on our playground. The diggers gave each child the opportunity to build their hand-eye coordination and engage in imaginative play while also being easy to carry and maneuver.

With the cold weather, we have been unable to assemble the playhouse. We are hoping to build it soon and enjoy the outdoors while also having a fun place to play and explore! We can't thank you enough for your generous donation!”
