Classroom Supplies to Boost Engagement

Funded Dec 6, 2024

I hope this letter finds you well. I am expressing my deepest gratitude for your generous donation to my DonorsChoose campaign. Your kindness and willingness to invest in my student's education mean more than words can truly express.

As a teacher, I see firsthand the impact that resources and opportunities have on young minds. When I started this campaign, I hoped to provide my students with the tools they need to succeed, but I never imagined how quickly and selflessly people like you would step in to help make that dream a reality. Because of your generosity, my students now have access to [specific resources funded, e.g., new books, technology, art supplies, flexible seating, etc.], which will enrich their learning experience in ways that will last a lifetime.

In our classroom, we strive to create an engaging and dynamic learning environment where every student feels empowered to explore, create, and grow. However, many of my students face challenges outside of school that make learning more difficult. Some come from low-income households, others from families where English is not their first language, and access to chart paper, post-it notes, pencils, and fidgets helps meet the needs of all our diverse learners. Your donation has not only provided materials but has also given them a sense of excitement and curiosity that will inspire them to reach new heights.

Since receiving these resources, I have already seen an incredible difference in my students' engagement and enthusiasm. When we brought out the model atoms for the students to work with, students were so excited to dive deep into intermolecular forces. Seeing them use these models to dive deep into the inquiry process is inspiring as a first-year teacher.

I always want to thank for filling the donations of colored ink, which was helpful throughout the school, not just the 7th grade, as it helped students have the necessary printouts for modeling of key equations and systems to boost engagement compared to the traditional learning model.

Your donation is more than just a financial contribution; it is a message to my students that their education matters, that there are people in the world who believe in them, and that they are capable of achieving great things. This act of kindness has given them confidence and motivation, and I do not doubt that the ripple effect will be felt for years to come.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for choosing to support our classroom. Your generosity and compassion are truly making a difference, and I want you to know that you are now a part of our classroom family. I will be sure to keep you updated on how your donation continues to impact our students, and I hope you take pride in knowing that you have played a crucial role in shaping their education.”

With gratitude,

Mr. Manning
