Color Copies for Visual Learners
Funded Feb 6, 2025Your generous donations toward a color printer have made a sizable and immediate impact for the students in my class. Easy and timely access to copies of various materials and resources instantly turns a negative into a positive. The time it used to take me walking to the communal printer and waiting in line has been replaced with more time for preparation. Instances where I had to settle for resources that were "good enough" have been replaced with the ability to print vivarent color versions.
Something that seems so simple, like a multiplication chart, is so much more valuable for a student when it is in color. It can be a game changer in ways such as adding emphasis on specific parts, make things stick out in one's mind, helping one organize the infomation, and so much more. That goes for learners of any age and students with or without disabilities. We are all visual learners to some degree, and this copier increased the range of resources I can use ten fold!”

Newer Versions Encourage Reading the Classics!
Funded Nov 21, 2024Your contribution has made a positive impact on my classroom immediately. We were in the midst of reading the book Belle Prater's Boy, one chapter a day. Some students had taped up books that were in bad shape, but they were replaced with brand new copies. Thanks to you! Instead of dreading their copy of the novel, they are proud of it.
As you may know, any encouragement to promote more reading is absolutely crucial for our young people. This is especially true for students in an Inclusion classroom; which groups General Education students together with Special Education students. The goal is to make all levels of readers feel equal and having equal materials firs the theme well.
Thank you again for your generosity.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Wells
