Music Making is Memorable

Funded Dec 4, 2024

Wow, I'm so grateful for your kindness and generosity towards my students and I! My students were excited to see all the new instruments!

The keyboards are being utilized to give group piano instruction. Some of the keyboards they were using previously had broken keys. My students are able to play along with songs being displayed on the SmartBoard. They can play the notes by following the letter note name, solfège syllables, numbers, or colors (for those needing color stickers on the keys).

The new ukulele is a replacement for a ukulele that was damaged. In that class, my students are learning to play various popular songs on the ukulele.

The djembe drums have been great so far for my k-2 classes. I have a particular student who previously didn't seem to enjoy playing music but now her eyes light up when she sees the drum! She smiles and laughs while drumming away!

Thanks so much for putting smiles on the faces of my students!”

With gratitude,

Mrs. Animam
