Staying Connected In The Classroom

What a wonderful way to start the new year! I am so grateful for this generous gift. My students will be surprised to see that when they come to school with a dead iPad and are unable to participate in the lesson through technology, that we have more than just the one extra charger in class. Normally it is in use, so to provide them with additional options will minimize the wait and distracting behavior. It is such a relief to know that we have access to extra chargers to use at their own desk versus being attached to an outlet at a wall. This very generous gift will make our lives much easier and give us so much more time actually learning instead of waiting around and letting other things distract them. We will use them to ensure we are ready to learn and engaged daily. Additionally, the colored pens will also provide an invaluable tool when they tackle their writing process as color coding the parts of their essay based on their rubric will ensure success. Colored pens always brighten their day....such a simple tool that is loved at all ages! As do the snacks that will be provided to them to fuel their brain and spark those creative thoughts. I am and know my students will be so grateful!
