Our classroom is made up of thirty first grade students! They are an amazing group of young people willing to work hard and give their best in everything they do. The students come from all walks of life! They are a wonderfully diverse group representing a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Over half of the students in the classroom are English Language Learners. They come together as one small community of learners in a public school setting in California. The students range in ages from six to eight years old. Despite having a variety of different backgrounds and interests they all share one passion and that is reading!
