Empowering Neurodivergent Students With Adaptive Classroom Tools and Furniture
Funded Dec 6, 2024I want to express my sincere gratitude for your generous donation of snacks, a diffuser, Cricut markers, and fidget toys. These resources have already made a meaningful impact on my students and their testing experience.
When my students first saw the snacks and new materials, they were overjoyed. After working hard on their tests, receiving a treat brought big smiles to their faces. It was a simple but powerful way to acknowledge their effort. The snacks have continued to be a source of encouragement, and the diffuser has transformed the testing space into a calming environment. Many students have shared how much they appreciate the soothing atmosphere, which helps ease their anxiety during testing.
The Cricut markers and fidget toys have also been wonderful additions. The markers are being used for creative projects during their breaks. The fidget toys provide students with a quiet way to stay focused, especially for those who benefit from sensory tools.
Looking ahead, I hope to continue enhancing the testing room to make it an even more welcoming space for my students with disabilities. The school's budget often doesn't cover small but impactful resources like these, so your support means a great deal. Your generosity helps my students feel seen, valued, and supported in their learning journey.
Thank you for making a difference in their experience. Your kindness is truly appreciated!”
With gratitude,
Ms. A
