My students might be came together and organized a project through our Mental Health Awareness Club, where they combined awareness with support for their peers. They put together a "Stress-Free Zone" during testing week, where students came to relax, grab a snack, and engage in calming activities like guided breathing or journaling. The snacks helped fuel and comfort students, while the cleaning materials ensured that the space remained welcoming and tidy.

A standout moment happened when students who typically feel overwhelmed at school came into the space, grabbed a snack, and shared how much they appreciate having a quiet place to focus on their mental well-being. It was a great moment of connection and support.

I plan to continue using my club as an outlet for students to express their fears and overcome any mental health challenges that they may be facing.”
