Funded Oct 19, 2024Thanks to your incredible support, our Green Thumbs Grow students have embarked on a transformative journey into the world of plants, sustainable gardening, and environmental stewardship.When the students first saw the beautiful array of live house plants you provided, their faces lit up with joy and curiosity. For many, this is their first time caring for live plants in such a hands-on way, and the excitement was palpable.
Your donation has not only given them the resources to start this project but has also opened the door to learning experiences that go beyond the classroom. These plants have brought the joy of nature into our school, reminding students of the importance of greenery and the beauty that plants can add to indoor spaces.
As they continue with the project, they're also starting to explore topics like plant biology, growth cycles, and the different conditions plants need to thrive. Your donation has allowed them to develop these skills in a way that's both engaging and impactful, setting them on a path to becoming more environmentally conscious and knowledgeable about sustainable practices.”
