Happy Holidays!

I wanted to share an update on my project as the year comes to an end. All of the supplies and materials have been delivered and have truly transformed my office into a safe space for my students.

The students faces light up when they come in and they immediately express how safe and happy they feel. Thing I have heard are "It feels like home in here" and "I feel like I can forget about all of my problems when I come here"

The SEL games have been so helpful in helping the students explore new ways to identify and manage their feelings while having fun. I've used the text books to lesson plan and build SEL curriculum. The books have also helped the students learn more about life skills related to money management, career and education planning as well as therapeutic interventions to help them cope and mange.

Finally the furniture has added an element of comfort, which immediately makes the students feel at ease and relax.

All of this was possible because of YOU.
