Supplies for Success!
Funded Sep 29, 2022We want to thank you for all the support you have given us. As we all adjusted back to full time in person education, we needed many items to get us working and learning.
The students got a chance to have different multi sensory activities to be able to learn new reading skills. With the crayons, the students looked for concepts taught (vowels, digraphs, etc) and highlighted those, so they could quickly identify and read them.
The younger students utilized the crayons to circle, color and do other multi-sensory activities. We had so much fun learning with all the materials provided.
We really appreciate the support and thank you for thinking of us.”

Funded Sep 13, 2020Thank you for helping us get resources to work with the children. With your donations, we were able to purchase activities from Teachers pay teachers which the students utilized throughout the school year. One of the packets we bought included all math skills taught in 4th grade with many interactive activities. I was able to share with other teachers and also create resource posters for my students. Separately, I was also able to get organizers and activities around these organizers to help students expand on their learning of responding to short answer questions.
Thank you very much for your support. I will be able to re-use these materials for many more school years to come.”

Middle of School Year Supplies
Funded Dec 9, 2019We thank you for your support and gift to our project. With the supplies provided, we were able to create fun learning activities for our students that they enjoyed.
For certain students, we were also able to provide fidget items, which were used as a strategy for them to focus in the lesson. They were appreciative and enjoyed everything given to them.
Once again, thank you for reaching out and giving our students materials, so they can continue to learn and grow while having fun at the same time.”

Middle of the School Year Supplies
Funded Feb 20, 2019Thank you for thinking of our students when deciding to make a donation. We have received all the items requested and the students are having a great time with the activities and materials received. Our students are loving using the tubaloos to hear their voices when they read. In addition, they enjoy sounding out the words when putting together the puzzles/sight words. We are definitely appreciative.
Our students this year have made some great leaps in the area of sight word recognition and reading fluency. You were able to be part of this great accomplishment by donating to our vision. We thank you once again for partnering with us and making their learning fun and engaging.”

School Supplies At the Beginning of the Year
Funded Aug 18, 2017Thank you so much for helping us out with the supplies. The students have been diligently working with these materials. For example, when working on phonics skills, the students are able to cut, glue and paste their pictures in the right place. This is because of the materials that we were able to purchase thanks to your generous support. Also, we are able to create visuals of words with the markers provided and lastly, we have pencils to continue with our activities.
We are truly thankful that you thought of us and appreciate the consideration.”

Supplies For The School Year
Funded Aug 8, 2016We are so excited for these supplies!!! Thank you so much for helping us get the book pouches, book baggies, sentence strips and markers.
These supplies are instrumental for us to get organized and to help the children, so they don't lose their materials. The children have decorated their individual book pouches. In addition, we are utilizing the other book baggies for sight word recognition practice. The students write the unknown words in sentence strips cutouts and then store them in these baggies. They take them out for review during our sessions.
In all, we are very thankful for the support and know that the children enjoy having these supplies for their learning activities.
Thank you!”

Beginning of School Year Supplies
Funded Aug 1, 2016We are so excited to say that the supplies have helped us by giving my students an interactive way to learn and be engaged. The match and sorts are helping to expose the children to language in a fun way. They enjoy playing with the matching tiles. At this time, we have focused on the phonics part and the children really enjoy playing with the cards/tiles.
In addition, the other supplies help us to brighten our lessons and provide more opportunities to increase their interest in the lessons. We thank you so much for giving to our school/projects and appreciate the interest you have in our students.
THANK YOU!”

Beginning of School Year Supplies
Funded Jan 20, 2016It is the end of the year and I wanted to take the time to thank you for helping the children in our community by funding our projects. Through our projects, the students were able to get materials to help enhance their learning via engaging activities.
The writing folders were used across grades 2 and 5. In addition, the resource teacher (SETSS) at our school used these with her students as well. These folders provided the visual for them to follow the steps of the writing process. The treasure chest was used as rewards for the students and they loved waiting for it on Fridays.
Lastly, the sight word bingo helped to enhance the vocabulary of the students in a fun way. We had so much fun learning and your help made it possible. Now, we will continue to use these resources in the next school year.
Thanks again for all you do.”

Catching Up to Comprehension Skills in an Engaging Way!
Funded Dec 31, 2014Thank you for donating to my project. The donation of the intervention folders has been a tremendous asset to our intervention tool kit.
The materials have provided an opportunity for the children to have focused small group intervention that touches on specific skills. In addition, each lesson/activity comes with cards that are in vivid colors which is visually very appealing to the students. The children are engaged during our sessions and they actively want to look for text features while they are reading the articles.
Thank you for the continued support to enhance our students' learning.”

Middle of the School Year Supplies
Funded Dec 6, 2014I am very excited to report that the supplies provided via this project have made my students very excited about learning. We have created a variety of hands-on activities which allows them to interact with the materials.
For example, during an intervention session, I am able to create sight word flash cards which we introduce, review and then use to create sentences. These visuals stay in front of my students as support when they are reading texts independently. I believe this way of presenting information to my students create a level of excitement and motivation that our children need.
Thank you for the support!”
