Musical Instruments for Students' Mental Health

My students are super thankful for the instruments and music gear. When we had an open period they immediately began asking to try out the instruments.

We've had some great learning and experimenting going on, trying out different setting, using an orchestra bow on the guitar, and building relationships with each other.

One student in particular has been returning every possible period to use the instruments. It's definitely a passion of theirs and this helps them have a place they belong at school and feel safe and accepted here.”
