Funded Oct 4, 2024Historical thinking skills have been sharpened as we have started reading. Students have been able to connect events from the book to events we've discussed in class.
Students take time to read independently some days while others we read together as a class. Students love to read together as we briefly pause to discuss.
This has really peaked students interest in the devastation that was the Holocaust. It allowed students to see a personal story rather than just an overview of events. It has captured many of the students emotions as we continue to read through Elie Wiesel's experience!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Norwood
