"KID-Bot"- a Beginner Friendly Robot

Your support means the word to me and will have a lasting impact on students at Trenton Public Schools especially at Ninth Grade Academy. Your funding for my robotics club surpasses any funding that I have ever got in this district for 17 years. Thanks to your kindness, we are one step closer to creating an opportunity for our disadvantaged students to get an opportunity to learn Robotics and Computer Science.

Funded Oct 5, 2024Your generous donation gives me hope to continue my personal effort to bring computer science and robotics in our district to give our students the same opportunities that students in other districts have. Our students do not have opportunities because of their social economic situation. I was happy to see their excitement to complete simple tasks like taking picture/video of the school area and being able to bring the drone back at the starting position. It felt like they had magic power accomplishing something that was surreal for them before and as one of the students put it: "I never thought that this thing will cross the path of my life!" I was planning to retire next year, but I decided to push it for a couple of years, because it looks like I have some more work to do here for the Treton Public School students. Your generous donation it gives me opportunity to help these students believe more on themself and getting them confident for a better future for themselves and their families so they can be the outliers from some of the trends that other people have predicted for them: street gangs, incarceration, drugs.

As a student in 9GA, and a member of the Robotics Club, we want to thank you for your constant support. You guys supporting us means a lot to me, and it helps me to explore the endless possibilities of coding and technology. Throughout my whole time in this Robotics Club, I have learned how to be able to code a robot, fly a drone, and even make my own car (although it's still a work in progress). This experience is really helpful for me and is paving my way into becoming a software engineer. So once again thank you for loving care, support, and donations as we head into 2025.
