Help Get Our Students Snacks!
Funded Mar 24, 2025Thank you so much for your contribution! As we round out the 2025 academic year, this will be a great resource for our students. This will allow them to devote more time and energy to the upcoming exams, finish the year strong, and spend less time worrying about where their food is coming from.”

Funded Nov 15, 2024Thank you again for helping fund our project to help get our students snacks. For our students who come to the office first thing in the morning, snacks like granola bars often double as their breakfast. During lunch, many students stay in the office instead of going to the cafeteria meaning they don't get school lunch and usually haven't eaten anything all day. Having snacks on hand encourages students to spend time in the counselor's office, which allows us to build a rapport and establish ourselves as a resource, and helps get them through the rest of the day. Additionally, being able to provide snacks has been beneficial for my one-on-one sessions and has been an easy way to initiate conversation and create a safe space.
Students were excited when they learned we had snacks again and got to pick from a wide range of choices. Going forward, I want to use this opportunity to engage with students more and hopefully encourage others to stop by the office. I also want to use the snacks as a starting point to check in and talk about healthier eating habits. Finally, I want to continue ensuring students have access to snacks and other healthy alternatives to school lunch.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Ross
