I teach in a low-income school district, where budgets are low and needs are high. I just made the transition from a 1st-6th grade Character Education teacher into a 1st grade classroom. I do not have all of the necessary supplies to start this new journey, but that's where DonorsChoose comes in! Our students do not come to school with the necessary supplies, nor do we have the budget to give them everything that they need. However disadvantaged they are, my students come to school eager to learn, with smiles on thier faces. School is often times the only consistent place in thier lives. Please consider donating to my projects!
