A Camera to Build Pride in Art

I am beyond grateful for your generous donation that allowed me to purchase a camera for my art classroom. While the original goal was to help my senior students take professional photos of their work for their portfolios, the impact has been far greater than I could have imagined. Introducing the camera to my freshmen has sparked a new level of excitement and engagement. Many students are now more eager to photograph their projects than to actually create them, and in doing so, they are developing a sense of pride in their work. This newfound confidence is the first step in their artistic growth, and it's helping them finish projects on time so they can capture their efforts.

Beyond the excitement in my art students, the camera has become an unexpected learning tool for everyone. My students, who are more tech-savvy than I am, have taken to the camera with enthusiasm and are teaching me new features and techniques that I didn't know. Even students who are less inclined toward art are thrilled to use the camera, gaining valuable skills they can apply both in and out of the classroom. Your gift has made a lasting impact, encouraging creativity, building confidence, and fostering a sense of pride in their work.
