Currently in the classroom the two most favorite items are the fridge and the microwave. Students love having a place to store healthy food during the day and to heat up food from home. This improves their physical and mental health and helps them focus better in their classes. The sense of pride and ownership they take in their new belongings is impressive. They love to keep them clean and enjoy making each other healthy snacks.
Finally, the ambiance in the classroom is much improved. Especially the ambient LED lights contribute to a cozy and warm feeling, and students report that they want to come to class more because it feels "homey" in here.
