Fluency Fiesta: Transforming Reading Skills into Fun Adventures!
Funded Sep 28, 2024Technology has transformed the way we learn in the classroom. It's no longer just about textbooks and lectures; now, we have interactive tvs, iPads, Chromebooks and online resources that make learning more engaging and personalized. For example, we use educational software that adapts to each student's pace and learning style for both reading and math. This means that students who grasp concepts quickly can move ahead, while those who need more time can get extra support.
One of the most exciting new tools we've introduced this school year is digital testing that assessing a child's oral reading fluency ability. This was this biggest reason for our project request of headphones. With this digital assessment, we are able to test students faster and get individualized reading goals for each student.
Technology has truly leveled the playing field, giving all students the opportunity to learn in ways that suit them best. It's not just about making learning fun; it's about empowering students to become confident, creative, and critical thinkers.”
With gratitude,
